Today we’re gonna make together
Lasagna cupcakes
The ingredients
1.
Half
lbs lean ground beef
2.
One
small onion peeled and chopped
3.
Three
garlic cloves peeled and minced
4.
One
cup thick tomato sauce
5.
One
large egg beaten
6.
Half
a cup ricotta cheese
7.
One
teaspoon oregano
8.
1 10
oz/285g can refrigerated biscuit dough (This is cone dough in British and
Australian terminology, you might need to make the dough from scratch if it’s
not sold refrigerated)
9.
¾
cup mozzarella cheese shredded
The procedures
1. Preheat the oven to 375f, 190c lightly grease the muffin pans (18
muffin cup size)
2. In a large skillet stir together the ground beef, onion and garlic
over medium-high heat.
3. Cook the beef until it’s no longer pink.
4. Place a colander over a large bowl. Pour the beef mixture into the
colander to allow the grease to drain. Once the grease has cooled, discard in
the trash ( not the sink).
5. Return the beef to the skillet. Add the tomato sauce and thoroughly
combine it with the meat.
Then remove the skillet from the heat.
6. Mix the egg, oregano and ricotta cheese in a small bowl and set it
aside.
7. Open the can of biscuits.
Separate each uncooked biscuits by gently pulling them apart.
Cut each biscuit in half. Press the biscuits halves on the bottom
and up the side of each muffin cup.
8. Spoon the ground beef mixture into the eighteen biscuit-lined cups.
9. Top each biscuit cup with the egg and ricotta cheese mixture.
10. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over each cup.
11. Place the muffin pan into the preheated oven. Bake the cups from 18
to 20 minutes.
12. Remove when cooked.
13. Serve the lasagna cupcakes while they’re still hot.
