Today we’re gonna make together
Thai chicken pasta
The ingredients
1. 3
tablespoons soy sauce
2. 2
tablespoons lime juice (from about 2 limes)
3. Half
tablespoon vegetable oil
4. 2
garlic cloves (minced)
5. 3
quarters teaspoon ground ginger
6. 1
lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
7. Half
cup carrots (thinly sliced)
8. 2
green onions (thinly sliced)
9. 1
teaspoon soy sauce
10. 2teaspoons
lime juice
11. Half
cup chunky peanut butter
12. Half
cup chicken broth
13. One
tablespoon packed brown sugar
14. Half
teaspoon salt
15. Dried
red pepper flakes to taste
one or half teaspoon as you like
16. 3
quarters linguini or spaghetti
17. Chopped
cilantro
18. Half
cup chopped peanuts
The procedures
1. In
medium bowl combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, two table spoons lime juice,
half tablespoon oil, garlic and ginger. Add the chicken and toss to coat with
the marinade. Cover and marinate for at least ten minutes in the refrigerator.
2. Bring
a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add noodles and cook according
to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
3. While
the pasta is cooking, place the peanut butter in a medium microwave safe bowl
for 60 seconds. Remove peanut butter from the microwave and whisk in one
teaspoon of soy sauce, two teaspoons lime juice, chicken broth, sugar, salt and
red pepper flakes. Set aside.
4. Heat
about one tablespoon of oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry chicken
until browned and fully cooked (the internal temperature has reached 165
degrees). It should take about four to five minutes for the chicken to cook.
Add carrots and green onion and stir-fry for one minute more. Add the peanut
sauce to the chicken and green onions and stir to coat. Add the pasta and toss
with tongs to coat with the sauce. Top with chopped peanut and cilantro.
5. serve
